PURPOSE:To shorten the access time to an information track for a feed mechanism of optical head of optical head by using the 2nd drive means which rotates the optical head and an objective lens which is set to the optical head with eccentricity given from the rotary shaft of the optical head. CONSTITUTION:A stepping motor 37 is driven while a shift member 21 is moved in the radius direction A of a recording medium 19. Then an optical head 23 is revolved toward B round a rotary shaft 39. Thus an objective lens 41 has an access at a prescribed position of the medium 19. This attains the simultaneous use of both motors 36 and 37 to ensure a high-speed access. Then the access time can be shortened to an information track.
