SPOOL TYPE FRUID CONTROL VALVE

A piston-type fluid control valve, e.g. for use in appts. for carbonating liquids by control of compressed gas flows, has the valve housing formed with a concave seal pocket at one end of the bore in which the valve piston slides. The pocket is bounded by an annular surface with abuts one end of a sleeve which lines the bore. The pocket is coaxial with the bore. A second annular surface at the other end of the bore abuts the other end of the sleeve to locate it precisely in the housing.
