PURPOSE:To keep high catalytic activity for a long period of time, by containing two kinds of crystalline aluminosilicate zeolites, each having a specific X-ray lattice distance and alumina having supported at least platinum. CONSTITUTION:Crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite (A) having a silica/alumina mol. ratio of 10 or more and a specific X-ray lattice distance, crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite (B) having a silica/alumina mol. ratio of 12.5 or more and a specific X-ray lattice distance and a powder having preliminarily supported platinum are mixed in arbitrary order to obtain a catalyst. In use, the obtained catalyst can be treated at about 200-600 deg.C, pref., about 250-550 deg.C under a reductive atmosphere, for example, hydrogen gas. |
