PURPOSE:To make it possible to eliminate the problem of generation of irregular feed of a rolled paper sheet due to variations in the diameter of the rolled paper sheet, by providing such an arrangement that the space between an curved guide section and a curl removing roller is automatically adjusted in accordance with the tension of paper of the rolled paper sheet, which varies in dependence upon variations in the diameter of the rolled paper sheet. CONSTITUTION:When the diameter of a rolled paper sheet is maximum and when a tension is effected in the paper sheet 7 caused by forces F1, F2 which are exerted similar to the conventional one, a curl removing roller 3 is pushed up by the paper sheet 7 to shift a bearing 11 to the top section of an elongated hole 10a, and therefore, a gap 2 is enlarged at a maximum value so that the frictional resistance to the paper sheet 7 by the roller 3 and a curved guid section 1 becomes minimum, resulting in that the force F2 comes to be also minimum. Then, the spring constant of a torsional coil spring 21 is set such that the load upon the bearing 11 is increased to comensate the reaction of the force F2 due to reduction of the diameter of the rolled paper sheet, and therefore, although the force F1 increases from M3 to M2 since the roller 3 is depressed down due to the reduction of the force F2 and the gap 2 is narrowed, the force F2 simultaneously decreases from L3 to L4 so that the variation N2 in the value of F1+F2 is greatly decreased in comparison with the conventional one, thereby it is possible to prevent irregular feed.
