Actuator for motor-vehicle equipment

A description is given of an actuator for motor-vehicle equipment and is intended, in particular, for use with electrically actuated window lifters. The actuator comprises an electric motor with a driving pinion which is in engagement with an exposed segment gear connected to the part to be adjusted. The driving pinion is surrounded by a storage container which can be filled with lubricating grease and has an opening in the region of engagement between the driving pinion and the segment gear. The entire actuating device can therefore be installed and adjusted without being greased. After installation, the storage container can be filled with grease. No greased parts are therefore encountered during installation.
