PURPOSE:To prevent thinning of an air-fuel ratio and to provide excellent running properties, by a method wherein, in a device having three fuel feed systems of a main system, a slow system, and an acceleration system, fuel is fed from the acceleration system during a process of shifting control between the main and the slow system. CONSTITUTION:An acceleration system has an acceleration pump 3 communicated with a float chamber 1 through an inlet check valve 2, and the one side at the lower part of a cylinder 3a in an acceleration pump 3 is communicated with an acceleration pump nozzle 5 through an outlet valve 4. In a process in which fuel is migrated from a slow system to a main system, the acceleration pump 3 is operated in linkage with a throttle valve 8. In which case, when a pressure within a cylinder 3a exceeds a given value, the valve body of an openable valve mechanism 9, located to the bottom part of the acceleration pump 3, is opened, and the fuel is injected through a passaher 10 right to the upper stream of a bypass hole 12 in the vicinity of a throttle valve 8 in a carburetter 11. |
