PURPOSE:To provide a filter fitting construction enabling a filter to be smoothly fitted and detached under the condition where a suction grille is fitted to a main body of an air conditioner, by providing a slanted part at an opening part for insertion of the filter of the suction grille. CONSTITUTION:The suction grille 3 is attached with the filter 4 on the back side thereof, and is mounted in the state of being flush with a bottom plate 12 defining the outline, a handle 4-1 of the filter 4 is provided in proximity to the bottom plate 12 in the state of being exposed to the outer surface through an opening part of the grille 3, and the filter 4 can be moved inward and outward by sliding in the direction of arrow 13. Between the handle part 4-1 and the bottom plate 12, a part of the grille 3 is slanted in the same inclination with that of the moving direction of the filter 4, is extended to the lower end part of the bottom plate 12, and is used as a guide for moving the filter 4 inward and outward. |
