PURPOSE:To prevent an accelerating shock from occurring, by constituting the operation of a shift-down device so as to be delayed for the specified time long to an increment signal of a car speed in a constant-speed driving state, in case of a device, bearing the above caption, variable for a car fitted with an automatic transmission. CONSTITUTION:When a car speed in a constant-speed driving state is increased with an accelerating device B1 operated, the signal is inputted into a controlling device B2 which operates an actuator B3 for control over a fuel supply to an engine being connected to a throttle valve or the like, increasing the speed. At this time, the controlling device B2 makes a shift-down device B4 operate after the elapse of the specified time since the accelerating device B1 has operated, making a speed gear step of an automatic transmission shift down. With this constitution, an accelerating shock is prevented from occuring and, what is more, a feeling of accelerating operation is improvable. |
