<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a microwave water load equipment having a high microwave dielectric strength and absorbing a large power of microwave with less water quantity by utilizing also the heat of vaporization in addition to the specific heat of water so as to absorb the microwave power when the microwave power is applied. CONSTITUTION:Water 4 is put in a box shape metal-made tank 3 via a water supply solenoid valve 7, the microwave power is led into the tank 3 from an electromagnetic horn 2 via a standard waveguide 1 and absorbed in the water 4. The temperature of the water 4 rises up to 100 deg.C and boils, a part of it is evaporated and the evaporated water vapor is exhausted out of the system by a vapor exhausing blower from the vapor exhausting outlet 9 via a metallic duct 10. The water decreased by the evaporation opens the solenoid valve 7 according to an electrical signal from a water level meter 6 so as to be supplied automatically. When the supplied water reaches a prescribed qater quantity, the water level meter 6 senses it to shut the solenoid valve 7. Thus, the water level in the water equipment is held automatically to a nearly constant value and the increase in the reflection due to the fluctuation of water level is suppressed.</p> |
