PURPOSE:To keep off any variation in a feeling of driving operation between times of two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, by constituting the ratio of an accelerator pedal operating value to a throttle opening value to be alterable. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 14 repetitive performs a program process periodically at the specified period. First, it inputs an output signal out of a pedal potentiometer 11 via an analog-to-digital converter 13 and reads an accelerator pedal operating value. Then, it judges that this case is two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive is the case, a ratio altering device 18 selects a relatively small opening characteristic ratio of a throttle valve, controlling a valve driving device 19. When the four-wheel drive is the case, a relatively large opening characteristic ratio is selected. With this constitution, any variation in a feeling of driving operation at the two-wheel drive or the four-wheel drive is preventable.
