PURPOSE:To make possible the easy and quick adjustment of inter-roller spaces and pass line position for each of rollers by operating a screw shaft to adjust the spaces between the upper and lower rollers and operating vertically the screw shaft to adjust the pass line position of the upper and lower rollers. CONSTITUTION:The screw shaft 50a of a driving side frame 20 is operated to rotate by a handwheel 53a, by which the space between the upper and lower rollers 8a, 8b is adjusted. A screw sleeve 54a is fitted to the screw shaft 50a and a lock nut 55a is screwed to the sleeve 54a at the upper face bearing member 4. The lock nut 55a is loosened and the entire part of the screw shaft 50a is operated to move vertically, by which the pass line position of the upper and lower rollers 8a, 8b is adjusted. |
