PURPOSE:To reduce the thicknesswise dimension of a wiper arm device, by couling a spring seat slidably supported to the casing of the wiper arm device, with a support through the intermediary of a link. CONSTITUTION:A spring seat 21 is fixed to the casing 13, and a spring seat 22 is supported to the casing 13, slidably in the longitudinal direction of the latter. In this arrangement a coupling pin 27 receives a force in the direction P1 by means of a coil spring 20, the acting line of the force passing below the coupling pin 18 so that a link 28 is rotated counterclockwise abut the pin18 as a center.Then, the casing 13 is rotated counterclockwise about the axis 17 as a center through a bracket 25, and therefore, a wiper blade jounalled to the front end of the support 14 is pressed against an window glass pane. |
