In a valve for a liquid circuit, in particular in a water valve, which, for direct actuation, is equipped with an electromagnetic actuator within a valve housing (1) provided with inlet and outlet branches (2, 3), the electromagnet (5) has a solenoid plunger (7) which can be displaced within the magnet coil (6) and counter to the force of an opening spring (8), a connecting rod (9) coaxial to the through-flow opening (11) of the seat (12) for the valve closure element and passing through the latter being attached to the solenoid plunger (7).
