PURPOSE:To improve the antenna characteristic, to simplify the structure scale and to reduce power consumption by setting the phase shift selection accuracy of a distributor close to a tournament beam terminal larger then that of other stage of distributor. CONSTITUTION:A variable distributor 2 is arranged at each tournament branch point. The variable distributor 2 consists of power distributors 11, 12 and digital phase shifters 13, 14, and a power distributor 12 having input terminals 12a, 12b and output terminals 12c, 12d is connected to a power distributor 11 having an input terminal 11a and output terminals 11b, 11c via the digital phase shifters 13, 14. The variable distributor 2 arranged to each tournament branch point is selected so that the phase shift selection accuracy is lowered as the number of stages of the tournament is increased. In this case, the number of bits of the phase shifter used for the 1st stage of the tournament is selected largely to improve the phase shift selection accuracy of the variable distributor 2. Thus, the quantized error at a low frequency is suppressed and the deterioration near the main beam is suppressed lower to improve the deterioration of the gain.
