PURPOSE:To enhance the adhesiveness of a powder epoxy coated steel pipe with concrete, by forming ring shaped beads to the outer surface of a steel pipe and subsequently applying a powder epoxy paint to form protruded rings on the surface of the steel pipe. CONSTITUTION:At first, ring shaped welded beads 6 are adhered to a steel pipe 4 so as to provide predetermined intervals in the pipe axial direction. Next, a powder epoxy paint is applied to the steel pipe 4 provided with the welded beads 6 by a usual method and protruded parts are formed by a powder epoxy coating film 8 at the parts having the welded beads 6 applied thereto to enhance the adhesiveness of the steel pipe 4 at the coating time of concrete. The height of each bead 6 is set to 3mm or more.
