In the case of a table, side parts (11, 12) are connected to one another by a connecting part (13) to form a table frame (10). For this purpose, a rigid element (35') and a resiliently deflectable element (37) at a distance therefrom are arranged on one part. An element (42, 42') of the other part (13) is inserted in the gap (41) between the two elements. The gap (41) is dimensioned such that the part (42, 42') to be inserted is slightly less thick than this gap, so that on connecting the elements by means of countersunk head screws (60) the resiliently deflectable element (37) is somewhat deflected and closes the gap (41). At the same time, the countersunk head of the countersunk head screw (60) causes a deformation of the resiliently deflectable element (37) in the direction of the inserted element (42, 42') and thus a positive connection with the latter. |
