A motor-actuated retractable car window possesses, along the upper edge of the glass pane (1), a strip-shaped electrical conductor which serves as a capacitively influenceable proximity sensor (2) and which is part of a control circuit cutting off the drive motor of the car window. Furthermore, a second strip-shaped conductor is arranged on the glass pane (1) as a capacitively influenceable sensor (3) in a region not directly influenceable by a body part, preferably in the lower region of the glass pane remaining in the door shaft when the window is closed. The signals coming from the two sensors (2, 3) interact in an evaluation circuit belonging to the control circuit, in such a way that the signals received simultaneously from the two sensors (2, 3) are eliminated as interfering signals. <IMAGE> |
