PURPOSE:To permit the stable knock control by preparing the judgment level so that the probability with which the max. value of the knocking sensor signals exceeds a knock judgment level becomes larger in the knock control region than that outside the region. CONSTITUTION:The knocking generated in an internal-combustion engine is detected by a knocking sensor A, and a control-value calculating means G delays ignition timing, etc. through a driving means H according to the result of the judgment in a knocking judging means F. Further, the max. value V in a prescribed division of the knocking sensor signals is detected by a detecting means B, and a calculating means C calculates the judgment level for the comparison with the max. value, and a correcting means D corrects the judgment level so that the probability of the max. value V exceeding the knocking judgment level becomes larger in the region (intermediate or high load) than that outside the knocking control region (light load) judged by a judging means E. Thus, stable knock control state can be obtained. |
