PURPOSE:To improve the fixing power of water glass to a raw material flux and to prevent the powdering and dislodging of the flux during the transfer by using the water glass contg. coron at a specific ratio as the binder for a welding material. CONSTITUTION:The water glass contg. 0.1-20ppm boron is used as the binder to be added to the raw material flux for the welding material. The fixing power of the water glass to the raw material flux is thus improved and the powdering and dislodging of the flux during the transfer are prevented.
