The strap (1) for the ready-to-wear tie comprises a single zipper band (4). The free sections of said band may be joined or separated by means of a zipper (5). Said zipper (5) is movable with respect to guiding members (7, 8) of the band sections. It is placed with respect to a fixed point (24) so that it may be seized and easily displaced in any position of the tie outside the tie knot (15). With tie wearers which have the habit to draw on the tie to place the knot exactly in the middle of the collar, as well with those who have the habit of tying themselves the tie, this way of doing results in the blocking of the zipper mechanism because the zipper is not rigidly connected to the strap. |
