PURPOSE:To provide a fan oil unit capable of blowing off hot air from a lower part of a casing and blowing off cool air from an upper part of the casing, by providing a containing chamber communicated to a passage between each pair of dampers. CONSTITUTION:A vertical plate 38 defining the containing chamber 32 is provided with a pair of openings 54 for constituting blow-off ports for a blower 14a between the dampers 28, whereby the chamber 32 is communicated with the passage 24. A vertical plate 40 is provided with an opening 56 which is opposed to an air filter 14c or into which the filter 14c is fitted, and the chamber 32 is communicated with the passage 26 through the opening. Hot air generated in a casing 12 and cool air generated in the casing 12 can be independently supplied into the room respectively through ports 16, 20. In addition, hot air can be blown off from a lower part of the casing 12, while cool air can be blown off from an upper part of the casing 12.
