PURPOSE:To shorten the total length of a transmission by providing in parallel a first counter shaft, second counter shaft, third counter shaft, fourth counter shaft and output shaft. CONSTITUTION:A main transmission 3 has a first counter shaft 14, second counter shaft 15, third counter shaft 16 and fourth counter shaft 17 held rotatably in parallel, and a gear 18 formed on an end of the first counter shaft 14 meshes with an output gear 13 of a transmission shaft 12. And a first speed change gear row 25 is provided on the first counter shaft 14, a second speed change gear row 33 on the second counter shaft 15, a third speed change gear row 45 on the third counter shaft 16 and a fourth speed change gear row 53 on the fourth counter shaft 17. Further, an output shaft 54 having driven gears 55, 56 is fitted onto a PTO transmission shaft 11 while being provided to extend through the second counter shaft 15.
