PURPOSE:To enable the efficient bonding and assembling of a box at a low cost even if the space to be bonded is narrow, by boring a through-hole to the side edge of a panel plate to be bonded and fixed to the side edge of the main body of a box and charging an adhesive between the joining faces through the above through-hole. CONSTITUTION:For example, the side edge 4a of the front panel 4 is made to contact with the back surface of the side edge flange 2a of the exterior cabinet 2 of the refrigerator 1 and is fixed to the box with an adhesive 10. A cavity 11 is formed to the side edge 4a of the front panel 4 and a through- hole 12 for the introduction of the adhesive is bored to the bottom part of the side edge 4a. The side edge 4a of the panel 4 is aligned opposite to the joining face of the side edge flange 2a of the exterior cabinet 2, and the adhesive 10 is charged into the space between the joining faces from the back side of the panel plate 4 through the through-hole 12 using an adhesive-application nozzle 14. Both members 2, 4 are bonded and fixed by this process.
