PURPOSE:To obtain a deflection yoke which can reduce a rise of temperature, by arranging a vertical deflecting coil at the innermost side, a horizontal deflecting coil outside that through a separator, and a core at the outermost side. CONSTITUTION:Outside a vertical deflecting coil 3 is furnished a horizontal deflecting coil 1 through a separator 2, and over the outside of the horizontal coil 1 is arranged a core 4. Although in the equivalent circuits, heat sources Qh, Qv and Qc and heat resistances Rh, Rs, Rv, Rc and Ra are same as conventional ones respectively, temperatures of the respective portions thetah, thetas, thetav, and thetac are different from the conventional ones, and so an additional mark 1 is placed to each theta. However, the temperature of the surrounding air flow thetaa is always equal. In calculation of the relation of the heat flow, the heat resistance, and the temperature, according to the thermal circuit theory, the heat distribution of each part of the deflection yoke is improved apparently to keep the temperature of the deflection yoke as a whole lower than that of the conventional deflection yokes.
