摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled medium having excellent lubricity and wear resistance by forming a ferrite-contg. layer on a ferromagnetic metallic thin film provided on a nonmagnetic substrate and forming on the layer surface a layer contg. a hydrocarbonic compd. having at least 1 kind among active groups of specified composition. CONSTITUTION:A ferrite-contg. layer 3 is formed on a ferromagnetic metallic thin film 2 provided on a nonmagnetic substrate 1 and at least 1 kind selected from a group of active groups shown by formula I is incorporated into a layer 4 contg. a hydrocarbonic compd. or a fluorine carbide compd. on the surface of the layer 3. Besides a high molecular material such as polyvinyl chloride and cellulose acetate or a ceramic material such as glass is used as the nonmagnetic substrate 1 and a ferromagnetic material such as iron and cobalt is used for forming the ferromagnetic metallic thin film 2 which is formed by vacuum deposition, etc.
