发明名称 MOLDED COIL
摘要 PURPOSE:To make a molded coil excellent in mechanical strength and a space factor by a method wherein the coil is wound in a rectangular or oval shape, and a prepreg glass member having a fibrous core is wound round on the external layer of the coil and heated to be set. CONSTITUTION:A rectangular core 2 is provided with a spacer 4, and a low- voltage coil 6 is wound round in a rectangular shape on the outer periphery of the spacer. Moreover, a spacer 8 is provided on the outer periphery of the coil 6 and a high voltage coil 10 is wound round thereon in a rectangular shape. On the outer periphery of the high voltage coil 10, an external insulating layer 14 being excellent in insulating properties is provided. On the outer periphery of this layer, moreover, prepreg glass threads 16 are wound, and then they are heated to be set. Since the prepreg glass threads 16 are shrunk and set by heating, they tighten the high voltage coil 10 strongly and retain same. Accordingly, the mechanical strength can be secured without providing a thick resin layer on the outer periphery of the coil. In other words, an excellent cooling efficiency is obtained. Since the mechanical strength is high, in addition, the coil can be formed in a rectangular or oval shape, which improves a space factor.
