PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of an indication hysteresis at a small input area, by making an intermittent current of a specified magnitude overlap an intermittent current with the magnitude proportional to the input to be inputted into an ammeter. CONSTITUTION:A speed signal is converted into a voltage signal from a frequency signal with an F/V conversion circuit 10 and then, into an current signal with an intermittent frequency for an oscillation circuit 14 with a V/I conversion circuit 12. On the other hand, a current signal with an intermittent frequency is outputted for an oscillation circuit 18 from a V/I conversion circuit 16. It is desired that the current signal should flow only for a short space of time in one cycle with the current value corresponding to the fullscale of an ammeter 22. The current signals from I/V conversion circuits 14 and 16 are added up with an addition circuit 20 to be inputted into the ammeter 22. Even when the frequency of the speed signal lowers with a slower speed, no indication of hysteresis will be generated as in the past because a large value of current flows though for a short time. The current flows for so short time to minimize the reading value of the current ammeter 22.
