<p>An improved, positive-release, wire-spring type clamp (10) for automated, temporary clamping and unclamping of a plurality of apertured workpieces (1, 2) in which the tool-gripping surfaces (36, 66) of the body of the clamp (10) and driver nut (30) are provided with a universal cylindrically-shaped outer surface which may be inserted into and operated by motor-driven installation tools without regard to the relative angular position between the tool-gripping surfaces (36, 66) of the housing (38) and nut (30).</p> |
