PURPOSE:To prevent an amorphous material from becoming fragile under heat treatment and to enable the efficient formation of a transformer of high performance and the like, by winding round or laminating a composite amorphous magnetic material so as to form a magnetic core. CONSTITUTION:A heat-resistive metal having a stable tenacity against the temperature of heat treatment of an amorphous material is applied as plating on an amorphous ribbon so as to form a composite amorphous material, which is wound round or laminated to form a magnetic core. A prescribed heat treatment is applied to this core, or a prescribed heat treatment is applied to the composite amorphous material before it is wound or laminated. The magnetic core thus formed is incorporated in an assembly as an inductance component of a transformer and the like. This method enables the efficient implementation of the heat treatment and the efficient manufacture of the magnetic core. |
