PURPOSE:To facilitate an electric welding operation, to ensure the joining and to make excellent the external appearance of a device for engagement, by welding a fixation member so that an electrode is positioned in the intersecting portion of the outer peripheral surface of the protuberance of a ferromagnetic member and the attractive surface of the plate element thereof and in the fixation member. CONSTITUTION:Fixation members 5 and 6 are welded or spot-welded respectively with an electrode E positioned in the whole or a part of the intersecting portion of the outer peripheral surfaces of the protuberances 2a and 3a of ferromagnetic members 2 and 3 and the attractive surfaces of plate elements 2b and 3b, and in the fixation members 5 and 6, by a nonpole type arc welding method. When electrodes E and E' are disposed and pressure-welded, concretely, a current from the electrode E flows to the electrode E' to generate an arc between the bent portion 6a' of the expanded end face 6a of the fixation member 6 and the back of the plate element 4b of the ferromagnetic member 3, and thereby the fixation member 6 and the ferromagnetic member 3 are welded. Accordingly, the impression caused by welding is little conspicuous since it is positioned at the root of the protuberance in the ferromagnetic member. Moreover, electric contact is facilitated since the welded portion of the fixation member is the bent portion of the expanded end face, and firm welding is secured since the arc is easy to generate. |
