<p>PURPOSE:To execute simply and easily a key input operation by preparing in advance various key patterns, and selecting and displaying the key pattern of an input key required for object data input operation, on a liquid crystal display picture. CONSTITUTION:An optional character, a graphic form, etc. are displayed freely on a liquid crystals indicator of a keyboard, and a depressed position is detected by a touch panel sensor which has been placed adjacently on the whole surface of this indicator. This detected position is converted to coordinate values of X and Y by a touch panel controller and inputted to an input data discriminating means. Also, various key patterns which have been generated in advance are stored in a key pattern storage means, and the X and Y coordinate values on the character and the graphic form on the display picture are stored in a position data storage means. These stored key pattern and coordinate values are selected by the respective position and key pattern selecting means, and displayed on the display picture by a pattern display controller. In this way, the key input operation is simplified, and input data is inputted to a computer, etc.</p> |
