PURPOSE:To provide the titled treating agent capable of imparting a solid material with excellent antistaticity, hydrophilic property and flexibility,by using a material obtained by the radical copolymerization of a specific organopolysiloxane with a specific organic compound, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective treating agent contains, as a main component, the product produced by the copolymerization of (A) 5-95pts.(wt.) of an organopolysiloxane having alkenyl group bonded to Si atom (e.g. dimethylsiloxane-methylvinylsiloxane copolymer blocked its terminal with trimethylsilyl group), (B) 95-5pts. of an organic compound of formula I (R is alkenyl; R<1> is 10-20C univalent hydrocarbon group; M<+> is alkaline cation) having alkenyl group and sulfonic acid base in one molecule and (C) 0-30pts. of other radically polymerizable monomer (e.g. vinylalkoxysilane) in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator. |
