PURPOSE:A film, obtained by incorporating specific silica particles and calcium carbonate particles in a polyester and having improved film winding characteristics and improved slipperiness, abrasion resistance and running durability. CONSTITUTION:An oriented film obtained by incorporating (A) 0.05-0.4wt% silica particles having 0.1-5.0mum average particle diameter and (B) 0.05-0.4wt% calcium carbonate particles having 0.1-0.5mum average particle diameter and a smaller average particle diameter than that of the particles (A) in a polyester. Preferably, 0.1-0.3wt% particles having 0.5-1mum average particle diameter is incorporated in the particles (A), and 0.1-0.3wt% particles having 0.25-0.45mum average particle diameter is incorporated in the particles (B). The difference between the larger particles in the particles (A) and the finer particles in the particles (B) in the average particle diameter is preferably at least >=0.05mum. Preferably, the particles are added to the polyester till he completion of the initial condensation. |
