MANUFACTURE OF AXIAL LEAD TYPE ELECTRONIC PART

PURPOSE:To remove any resin burrs stuck to leadwires of electronic parts easily at low cost without damage to the leadwires by a method wherein opposing flat plates provided with multiple grooves holding the base ends of leadwires of electronic parts whereto resin burrs are stuck are oscillated. CONSTITUTION:Opposing flat plates 1 are provided with multiple grooves 3 extending from upper end to lower end. When leadwires 5 of axial lead type electronic parts 4 are inserted into the grooves 3 of opposing flat plates 1 with the main body parts 6 of leadwires 5 held by a stopper 7, the resin burrs 8 stuck to the base ends of leadwires 5 are opposed to the inner wall faces 3a of grooves 3. Next specified numbers of axial lead type electronic parts 4 are contained in an oscillating base and then the oscillating base is placed in an ultrasonic cleaning layer 10 provided with oscillating coils 9 to remove the resin burrs 8 stuck to the leadwires 5 by cleaning the leadwires 5 using ultrasonic oscillation for specified time.
