PURPOSE:To obtain a facsimile reception control system which keeps the secrecy of a message by storing a message signal in a temporary storage circuit during automatic reception and outputting the address name of a receiver, and outputting the message by inputting a password number. CONSTITUTION:When there is an incoming signal from another FAX equipment, a display detecting mechanism 18 detects the display contents of a temporary storage display part 17 corresponding to the left upper end part of the address part 16 at the start of the message. A processing circuit 8 informs a FAX mechanism part 5 of a request to store the message temporarily and stops the message output when outputting only the address part and the succeeding message signal is stored in the temporary storage circuit 7. The processing circuit 8 actuates a dial circuit 10 with an address number to call an object subscriber. The subscriber who receives the information inputs a password number to FAX equipment 1 by using a dial pad 12 or magnetic card 13 and then the processing circuit 8 outputs all of the message 19 in the temporary storage circuit 7 on output paper 6 by using the FAX mechanism part 5. When an end confirmation number is inputted after the output operation, the storage contents are cleared.
