PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent S/N characteristic by providing a part of a detector pattern whose width is less than 1.0mum so as to control the output peak phase. CONSTITUTION:A main detector line 12 is formed with a detector pattern 17 made of a soft feromagnetic material such as a 'Permalloy(R)'. A part of the detector pattern 17, e.g., the pattern width W1 of the 1st corner 17a is formed smaller than a pattern width W2 as less than 1mum (W1<W2) of the other part, e.g., of the center 17b. Further, dotted lines show a conventional detector pattern. Then in using the detector pattern 17 to constitute a memory detector line and a dummy detector of a 4Mb magnetic bubble memory element, the peak phase is controlled as shown in figure representing the relation between the pattern width W1 of the 1st corner 17a of the detector pattern 17 set to less than 1mum and the peak phase.
