PURPOSE:To decrease the number of storage means such as a register without causing the deterioration of a performance by providing the second selecting means for selecting other storage means than that which has been selected by the first selecting means supplied to an operation processing part, and supplying it to an instruction precedence control part. CONSTITUTION:An instruction group of 8 bytes sent through a storage control part from a storage device is stored in a BR10 or BR11 by a display of an instruction stream marking circuit 16 provided on an instruction precedence control part 15. The contents of the instruction stream marking circuit 16 show '0' in case of an initial state, and in this case, the BR11 and the BR10 are operated as a register for storing the instruction group, and a register for storing an operand, respectively. When a branch instruction is executed and a branch is successful, the contents of the instruction stream marking circuit 16 are inverted, and the BR10 and the BR11 are operated as the register for storing the instruction group, and the register for storing the operand. |
