PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent adhesion, transparency and photographic cha racteristics for a coating substance by incorporating a lime treated gelatin having >=250g gelling strength and <=1,000ppm calcium content to an under- coating layer coated on a surface of the photographic polyester film. CONSTITUTION:The lime treated gelatin having >=250 gelling strength and 1,000ppm calcium content is used to the under-coating layer of the photographic polyester film in an amount of 100-600mg/m<2>, thereby strengthening the adhesion between the film and the photographic hydrophilic colloidal layer, and obtaining the excellent transparency and the photographic characteristics of the titled supporting body. As the swelling agent and the dissolving agent of the polyester are not used in the titled body, the harmful org. solvent does not exhaust. |
