PURPOSE:To execute securely the mode change-over of the recording and the reproducing without erroneous action by interlocking to the detaching of the reproducing adapter, and providing the means to change over to the reproducing mode and the recording mode. CONSTITUTION:When a reproducing adapter B is linked, a terminal 23a goes to be Low. Consequently, when a reproducing start switch SW3 is turned ON, an electric power source circuit (B) 201 is turned ON, feeding is executed only to circuit parts 15-17 28, 29, 108, 202 and 203 necessary to reproduction shown by a part D which is surrounded by a chain line in the figure, for example, a disk 107 is rotated by a motor 108 at the same speed as the time of the recording. At such a time, a switch circuit 15 is connected to a terminal (b) side by a switch control circuit 202. Consequently, a head 16 is connected to the input of a reproducing amplifier 17, and the signal on the disk 107 picked up by the head 16 is outputted through a reproducing amplifier 17.
