Disclosed is a polysilylene hole transporting compound for use in layered imaging members comprised of <IMAGE> wherein R1,R 2, R3, R4, R5, and R6 are independently selected from the group consisting of alkyl, aryl, substituted alkyl, substituted aryl, and alkoxy; and n, m, and p are numbers that represent the percentage of the monomer unit in the total polymer compound.
