摘要 PURPOSE:To grasp the accurate state of a storage battery by detecting the capacity of the storage battery from a voltage at the time of cracking, a voltage drop due to the load during a run, or no-load voltage. CONSTITUTION:The voltage when the storage battery is unloaded, the voltage during a run, the voltage at the time of cracking, and the capacity of the storage battery differ in constant of proportion, but has nearly linear proportional relation. The voltage of the storage battery is divided by the series resistance of resistances r1-r4 so that those three voltages become equivalent; and a point (a) is regarded as an in-cracking voltage detection point, a point (b) as a load voltage detection point, and a point (c) as a no-load voltage detection point. Further, a high resistance r6 is interposed between the no-load voltage detection point (c) and the input terminal of a linear IC 2 for turning on an LED and the no-load voltage is applied to the capacitor C at any time. If a voltage drop due to a decrease in the capacity occurs during a no-load state, run, or cracking, the capacitor C decreases the number of LEDs in a on state and the charge state of the storage battery is displayed as the charging voltage during the run rises.
