The structural glass front for residential and office buildings has single lights (1) and panels (1a,1b) supported by a skeleton framework (2) anchored to the permanent structure of the building. Each single light has a first internal monolithic pane of glass (3) and a second external monolithic pane of glass (4) which is greater in area than the first. They are isolated from each other by an annular element (14) which is filled with hygroscopic material, and attached to a frame (5) which is attached to the main structure. The frame surrounding each light has a peripheral arpon (10) on the side furthest from the building. It is isolated from the internal pane and combines with the annular element the internal pane and the external pane to form a channel (C) for a silicon sealant (16). |
