PURPOSE:To make possible recording on a disk surely by providing a position detector that detects whether the recording position is within the extent of recording and a shutter holding circuit that restricts shutter action according to condition of recording and output of the position detector and holds the light path of recording light in cut off or open state. CONSTITUTION:When the position of recording is between the starting position of recording 6a and finishing position of recording 6b and a setting device 16 is set to the speed and direction of feeding within the condition of recording, if a switch 14 is set to shutter open beforehand, a shutter circuit 17 opens a shutter 3, and maintains the condition until finishing of recording. The shutter circuit 17 closes the shutter except the time of disk 6 recording, the shutter 3 is opened and closed by opening and closing of the switch 14 at the time of adjusting of the optical system such as a recording light source 1, a mirror 4, a voice coil 5 etc. and at the time of focusing of the voice coil 5 when a feeding motor 10 is in the state of stoppage. Thereby, recording of the disk can be made surely even if careless operation is made during disk recording. |
