PURPOSE:To obtain a color copy contg. no ghost image and being prevented from reduction of picture image density even after executing many copies by regulating the light quality of a destaticizing lamp to a quality contg. no red light for the exposure of blue light and green light, and to the quality contg. red light for the exposure of red light. CONSTITUTION:A destaticizing device 7 comprises two chambers each contg. a white fluorescent lamp 71, and a red cut filter 11 is provided to one of the two chambers. For the destaticization after exposure with red light, a sensitizing drum 3 is destaticized by the white fluorescent lamp 71 in a chamber provided with no red cut filter 11, and for the destaticization after exposure with blue and green light, the sensitizing drum 3 is destaticized by irradiating it with the light from the white fluorescent lamp 71 of the chamber provided with the red cut filter 11 through the filter 11. By this method, generation of ghost due to formation of a highly and positively charged space region which is formed in the inside of a photosensitive body at the stage of exposure with blue and green light, is inhibited. Furthermore, since the destaticizing lamp contains no red light, the fatigue of the photosensitive body 3 is retarded. Generation of positive ghost is also inhibited because a destaticizing lamp contg. red color is used for the exposure using red light. |
