PURPOSE:To make such a restart that entails no wheel spin performable, by finding maximum acceleration in advance at the time of starting and, at the time of the restart after starting failures due to the occurrence of the wheel spin, letting a device perform acceleration control with this acceleration as a desired value. CONSTITUTION:There are provided with a wheel spin detecting part 10 which detects the occurrence of a wheel spin from output of a speed sensor detecting each rotational speed of both driving and driven wheels and an acceleration setting part 11 which sets a maximum value of acceleration at the time of starting as the desired acceleration. In addition, there is provided with a starting failure detecting part 13 which detects such a case as a starting failure when a wheel spin detecting signal is inputted at the time of starting. At the time of a restart after the starting failure, a throttle actuator 14 and a clutch actuator 15 are controlled by an acceleration control part 12 with the desired acceleration out of the acceleration setting part 11 as the desired value, whereby such a restart that entails no wheel spin is made so as to be performed.
