PURPOSE:To enable to fold inside numerous sheets accurately and deliver them to the following process smoothly, by folding inside sheets one by one, and furnishing a cutting at one side of a sheet folding roller to release the pressure to the folded sheets. CONSTITUTION:A sheet fed from a sheet feeding member is delivered through rollers 6 and 6, contacted to the upper guide plate 8, and hit with its tip to the tip fence 15. At this time, the sheet is bent around the rollers 6 and the lower guide plate 9. Then, a roller 7, with a cutting at a portion of the periphery of the cylinder to be rolled with one of the rollers 6, rotates one round taking a timing, hits the bent portion of the sheet when it begins to contact with the roller 6, and folds the sheet making into the condition P2 in the figure. While the roller 7 rolls one round, the delivery of the sheet is released temporarily, owing to the cutting of the roller 7, and the sheet is delivered to the following process smoothly. |
