PURPOSE:To make a small range of setting car speed alterable in a highly accurate manner, by setting the corrected variable calculated in accordance with a degree of acceleration or deceleration to be carried out at the time of altering the setting car speed down to the setting sped in adding it to the car speed at the point that output of an acceleration or deceleration command comes to a stop. CONSTITUTION:A device, bearing the above caption, controls an actuator 3 controlling a fuel supply to an engine with a controlling device 5 so as to have an actual car speed to be detected by a car speed detecting device 1 maintained to the setting car speed. In this case, while an alteration command indicating an alteration of the setting car speed is outputted out of an alteration commanding device 7, there is provided with a car speed alteration control part 5a which controls the actuator 33 so as to vary the car speed in succession. Also, there is provided with a car speed corrected variable calculating part 5b which calculates a car speed corrected variable DELTAV corresponding to a difference between a car speed V0 at the time of alteration command generation and a car speed V1 at the time of command stoppage, and the value made up of adding the car speed corrected variable DELTAV to the car speed V1 at alteration command stoppage is set as the setting car speed Vs at a car speed setting part 5c. |
