PURPOSE:To improve the safety and operability of a juicer, by using a detachable guide and providing a limit switch which turns on by setting the cover, thereby preventing the make of the limit switch in the case of incomplete setting of the guide. CONSTITUTION:The guide 3 for guiding fruits is attached detachably to the main body 1, which is provided with the limit switch 10 which turns on when the main body is sealed with the cover 7. When the guide 3 is incompletely inserted to the body 1, it is brought into contact with the cover 7 to inhibit the closure of the cover 7. The cleanability of the juicer is improved by making the guide 3 detachable. When the guide is not attached completely to guide fruits, the closure of the cover 7 is inhibited to prevent the make of the limit switch.
