PURPOSE:To permit connection of different kinds of printers by connecting an interface between medical instruments and printers, by converting standard printing commands generated from medical instruments to printing commands specific to respective printers, and by putting them out accordingly. CONSTITUTION:In a command conversion data portion 12B, command conversion data corresponding to respective printers are stored for conversion of standard printing command to be put into a command conversion program portion 12A from medical instruments 10 for use by the respective printers as their specific printing commands; and conversion is carried out therein into specific commands corresponding to the kinds of the printers concerned. On the other hand, in the command conversion program portion 12A, programs are stored for conversion of the standard printing commands to be put in from the medical instruments, into commands specific to respective printers, and according to the programs, by changing the minimum data necessary for command conversion for specific printers, data conversion for the command conversion portion 12B for the use by those printers, is performed. |
