PURPOSE:To automatically convey a needle-like part to a designated position by storing one needle like part in every grooves of a rotating roll, automatically letting out same sequentially to be placed on grooved rollers with rotation of the rotating roll, and transferring the same in the rotating direction. CONSTITUTION:Armature pins 1 stored in an upper portion 3a of a funnel-shaped receptacle 3 are rotated to be stored one by one in concave grooves 11 of a rotary roll 5, and sequentially led out of the bottom portion 3b of the receptacle 3 at designated time intervals to be placed on grooved rollers 4, 4... positioned below. Then, the pins are transferred to rollers 4 brought into sliding contact with a belt 15 and rotated simultaneously in the direction of an arrow X2, and both ends of the pin are supported in guide grooves 21a, 22a of support arms 21, 22 of a pin lifter C, with the forward end thereof brought into contact with a stopper 25 to be stopped. The lifter C is operated, and a handler B is started to grip a pin 1. After that, the handler is turned in a 90 deg. arc to hold the pin 1 vertically, advanced to a brazing position X1, and stopped.
